145.6!!!
I'm so close, darnit!
Ok, now that I have gotten that out of my system, I honestly shouldn't have expected to ring in at 145 today. Why? That would mean losing 2.5 pounds in a week, and as we all know I advocate losing no more than two pounds a week. So there is victory in this number! I lost two pounds this week! Yay!
Weighing 145 isn't an arbitrary goal for me. According to my BMI, once I weigh 145 I will be in the "Healthy" weight range for my height. But even now, a mere 0.6 pound more, I am considered "Overweight" and I'm tired of it.
I want to get healthy and stay that way. That's why, even once I hit 145, I'm not going to consider this journey complete. I'm still ironing out the details, and I'll post them once I'm ready, but until then, you better believe that next week I will be healthy for the first time in my adult life. NO EXCUSES ALLOWED!
